I was in a head to head with an F-14 tomcat. I was locked onto this bird with the heat seekers in my helicopter except he had a lousy connection and I kept losing lock and he was warping all over the place. So he was able to get me multiple times. That is how it happens, when you have a really good high-speed connection like mine, you are showing everyone where you are with a spot light. When they have a slow really bad connection, they are basically showing where the are with a strobe light.
