Monument men is based on a true story of a group of older soldiers set out to save art from being destroyed by the Nazis who had stolen it to have it shown in the Führer museum.
Actors
the movie stars quite a few older actors that you probably haven’t seen in a lot of movies lately i don’t know all there names but I’ll just list them and see what else they’ve done,we have George Clooney,john Goodman,Matt Damon,Bill Murray and Bob Balaban,Jean Dujardin, and Hugh Bonneville.
It’s a good cast I only know a couple of them from either tv or really good movies others I’ve heard the name go around so I’m unfamiliar with them.
Movie in general
The first hour of the movie is kinda boring but it builds up,I did fall asleep for a little bit but then the sound of gunshots woke me up and it started to get better and it got better and better .
the story
The story like i said is based on a true story about a team of older men set to save art from Nazis in the finale years of WWII,it was overall good like I said the beginning was boring but it got better anyways this group of men have to find all the art before it’s destroyed by the Nazis and that is what i will tell you so i don’t ruin the movie.
rating
Well it was good but it didn’t catch me really that great,but hey they did a good job and they made a movie worth the money i give it a 4 out of 5 stars .
